This Privacy Policy explains how Blu Pet Beds (“Blu Pet Beds,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website and join our founding list. Blu Pet Beds is a pre-launch brand; for now, this site exists to share news and let you join our email list.

Information we collect

When you join the founding list, we collect the email address you provide. If you use the “Find your Bliss Bed match” tool, we also store the preferences you choose there — a colorway, a recommended size, and the type of pet you tell us about — so we can send you a more relevant update. We do not ask for payment information; nothing is for sale on this site yet. Like most websites, our hosting provider may also log basic technical information, such as browser type and approximate location, for security and performance.

How we use your information

We use your email address and any match preferences to send you launch news, early-access and founding-list offers, and occasional updates from the brand. We also use aggregated, non-identifying information to understand how the site is used and to improve it.

How we store your information

Your information is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore), our hosting and database provider, which processes data on our behalf. We keep founding-list information until you ask us to remove it, or until it is no longer needed for the purposes described here.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the site and our email program — such as Google Firebase, and, in the future, an email delivery provider — and only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of others.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics 4) to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are visited and how long a session lasts. Firebase Analytics sets cookies and collects standard internet log information. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. We do not use advertising cookies or share this data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message we send. To ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, email us at hello@blupetbeds.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the brand grows and moves toward launch. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and we will let our founding list know about significant changes.
