The Bliss Bed

Three things we wouldn't compromise.

Memory foam, not stuffing

Real support that responds to your dog's weight and body heat — not a poly-fill that flattens in a month.

Built for joints

Pressure-point relief whether your dog is two or twelve — the same thinking that goes into a good mattress.

Made for your home

Four quiet colorways, chosen to settle into a real room — never to stand out the way a pet store aisle does.

Dogs sleep 12 to 14 hours a day. The Bliss Bed is built to make those hours count — memory foam that responds to weight and body heat, wrapped in a cover so soft you'll want one for yourself. Orthopedic comfort without the specialty store price tag.

From the founder

I built Blu because I couldn't find a dog bed I actually wanted in my living room. Every orthopedic option was either rubber-backed and ugly, or priced like a designer sofa. So we made The Bliss Bed: real memory foam, a cover soft enough that I'm tempted to keep one for myself, and a price that doesn't punish you for caring about the details. If your dog ends up sleeping better, we built it right.

It settled into the room the moment it landed. The olive looks better against the wood than I expected.

We wanted memory foam for his hips, and it's the first bed we actually wanted to keep in the living room.

Frequently asked.

What sizes does The Bliss Bed come in?
The Bliss Bed launches in one size — medium — with small, large, and an extra-small for cats and very small dogs to follow. Medium measures 28.7 × 35.5 × 7.9 in. Not sure which size will suit your dog? The match finder on this page will walk you to the right one.
Is the cover machine washable?
The cover is designed to come off — memory foam itself can't go through a wash, so a removable cover is how the bed stays fresh. We're finalizing the exact care instructions and will include them with every bed. Join the list and we'll share the details before launch.
What's the difference between memory foam and regular dog bed fill?
Most dog beds are stuffed fabric — fibre fill or loose foam that packs down within weeks and never springs back. Memory foam is different. It responds to your dog's weight and body heat the way a good mattress responds to yours, so the support stays even and it lasts. Inside The Bliss Bed there are two layers: a memory foam top that shapes to your dog, and a firmer support base that holds that shape for years. That pairing is the whole reason a memory foam bed outlives the stuffed kind.
Is this only for older or arthritic dogs?
Not at all. Orthopedic support helps aging dogs and dogs with joint issues, but it isn't only for them — every dog spends 12 to 14 hours a day asleep, and a surface that relieves pressure makes those hours better at any age. Think of it the way you'd think about your own mattress: you don't wait for a bad back to want a good one.
When will The Bliss Bed be available to order?
We're aiming to ship in Fall 2026. We'd rather get it right than rush it, so we aren't putting an exact date on it yet — but the founding list will be first to hear it, and first to order.
